The 6" T-312 ductile iron wafer check valve features an aluminum bronze disc and includes dual spring-loaded discs that assure quick, silent closure. It is designed with elastomer seats that create a positive seal against backflow and can be installed vertically or horizontally in any orientation. The durable ductile iron body is specifically designed to easily install between Class 125/150 companion flanges. This compact body design is lighter and requires less installation space compared to traditional flanged swing check valves. The split-disc, center-torsional spring design minimizes pressure drop. The working pressure, non-shock (psi) specifications include a cold working pressure (CWP) of 300 psi, while it is not suitable for steam service under saturated steam (WSP). The maximum service temperature is 180°F.
