The 5" T-312 ductile iron wafer check valve features a stainless steel disc and is designed with dual spring-loaded discs that ensure quick, silent closure. It includes elastomer seats that create a positive seal against backflow and is versatile enough to be installed vertically or horizontally in any orientation. The durable ductile iron body is engineered for easy installation between Class 125/150 companion flanges, while the compact body design is lighter and requires less installation space compared to traditional flanged swing check valves. Additionally, the split-disc, center-torsional spring design minimizes pressure drop. This valve has a working pressure, non-shock (PSI) of cold working pressure (CWP) at 300 PSI, and is not suitable for steam service; the maximum service temperature is 180°F.
