The 5" T-312 ductile iron wafer check valve is designed with dual spring-loaded discs that ensure quick and silent closure while featuring elastomer seats that create a positive seal against backflow. This versatile check valve can be installed in any orientation, whether vertically or horizontally. Its durable ductile iron body facilitates easy installation between Class 125/150 companion flanges, and the compact body design is lighter and requires less installation space compared to traditional flanged swing check valves. Additionally, the split-disc, center-torsional spring design minimizes pressure drop. The valve has a working pressure, non-shock (psi), with a cold working pressure (CWP) of 300 psi, although it is not suitable for steam service under saturated steam (WSP). The maximum service temperature for this valve is 180°F.
