The 6" T-312 ductile iron wafer check valve features a stainless steel disc and includes dual spring-loaded discs that assure quick, silent closure, while elastomer seats create a positive seal against backflow. This valve can be installed both vertically and horizontally, accommodating any orientation. Its durable ductile iron body is designed for easy installation between Class 125/150 companion flanges. The compact body design is lighter and requires less installation space compared to traditional flanged swing check valves. Additionally, the split-disc, center-torsional spring design minimizes pressure drop. The valve has a working pressure, non-shock (PSI) with a cold working pressure (CWP) of 300 PSI, and it is not suitable for steam service regarding saturated steam (WSP). The maximum service temperature is 180°F.
