The Humidity Alert ("HA-4") is an accessory designed for EnviroAlert® and EnviroAlert Professional® devices, facilitating the monitoring of relative humidity as part of the Winland Critical-Environment Monitoring solution, and is compatible with EA200-12, EA200-24, EA400-12, EA400-24, EA800-IP, or EAPRO-GTWY. This device operates effectively in both cooler/freezer environments and non-condensing settings such as offices or IT rooms, monitoring humidity within a range of 5 to 95% RH with an accuracy of ±3% between 25 to 75% RH at 77 °F (25 °C) and a temperature coefficient of less than 12 minutes. The sensing element is capacitive/IC, powered by 12V DC with a maximum consumption of 0.21W, and has an operating temperature range of -40 to 140 °F (-40 to +60 °C) in both condensing and non-condensing environments. The maximum sensor cable length is 1,000' (304.8m) using 18-22 twisted pair wiring. The back plate/surface mount device comes complete with mounting screws, an instruction manual, and included wire, while sending alerts back to the control device. It is MET approved with the listing number E115711. The dimensions of the unit are 3-7/8" x 2-7/8" x 1-11/16" (9.9cm x 7.4cm x 4.3cm), and it weighs 5.3oz (150.0g).
