Rust-Oleum's Universal Acrylic Primer is specifically formulated for application to a variety of surfaces that include metal, wood, concrete, plaster, wallboard, hardboard, glass, and tile. The rust inhibitive formulation also makes it an ideal choice for direct application to steel. This primer features excellent hide and adhesion for both interior and exterior applications, a tintable formula, adhesion promoting properties, resistance to flash rust, and is water-based with low VOC content. Additionally, it dries quickly and is effective as an excellent stain blocker while resisting the growth of mold and mildew.
