The N-Ferno® 6476 insulated freezer jacket is engineered for durable and comfortable protection in cold storage environments, ideal for workers in cooler or freezer rooms as well as outdoor workers across various industries, including construction and recreational activities like hiking or snowmobiling. It is constructed with 100% ripstop polyester and a water-resistant PU coating, ensuring maximum durability and warmth without compromising movement and dexterity. The jacket is insulated with 200g of 3M™ Thinsulate™, which retains heat effectively in extreme cold temperatures ranging from -10°F to -50°F (-23°C to -46°C). The Thinsulate™ insulation is designed to be 30% thinner than standard poly fill, featuring a higher loft design that allows for slower condensation and enhanced thermal retention, ultimately increasing the garment's lifespan. The jacket has a clo rating of 2.59, indicating superior thermal resistance; it is rated for moderate work levels at temperatures as low as -50°F (-46°C) for up to 5 hours, with a full 8-hour workday rating at -45°F (-43°C). The preservation of the insulation's effectiveness is supported by minimized washing.
