For added protection with Sierra Performance™ epoxies, start with Rust-Oleum® Sierra Performance™ S70 water-based epoxy acrylic primer. This water-based primer contains low VOCs, low HAPS, and low solvent odor and is ideal for settings where fumes are an issue. It provides a high-performance coating that is suitable for surfaces subjected to frequent wash-downs. The primer dries fast, with a touch time of 30 minutes and a return to service time of 24 hours. It is designed to enhance the performance of Sierra Performance™ epoxies and is specially formulated for brush or roller application. The product features superior adhesion and outstanding resistance to chemicals and corrosion. It is an easy-to-use, two-component system that requires the base and activator to be ordered separately. Additionally, it meets USDA requirements for incidental food contact.
