The Traffix Urbanite® is designed to create a continuous hand-guided safe passage through work zones, constructed from UV stabilized, high-density polyethylene. This linkable system features sections that connect easily in 6-foot lengths, providing contractors with flexibility for pedestrian pathways. Weighing only 23 lbs., the durable double-walled, non-flexible design is lightweight for easy handling and connections. The ten molded-in vertical windows not only reduce wind load but enhance strength and stability while allowing visibility for guide dogs. The Urbanite® includes male and female linkable connectors that are blow molded for increased strength and flexibility, facilitating the linking of multiple units. It features an ergonomic handrail for secure guidance, locations for two barricade lights, and is designed to protect pedestrians from work zone hazards. Additionally, it comes with four molded-in stacking lugs for secure transport and storage, and includes UV inhibitors to minimize fading. The product is also stackable for efficient storage and transportation, suitable for parades, crowd control, and pedestrian traffic management. Each wall is equipped with 10 molded-in vertical windows for enhanced wind load performance, while the two low-profile steel Urbanite® "T-legs" provide swivel functionality for deployment or storage. Both sides of the wall feature two recessed areas measuring 8" x 53" for reflective sheeting.
