The Skullerz® 8951 Vented Hard Shell Bump Cap is designed with a durable polyethylene shell that provides protection against bumps, scrapes, bruises, and other minor head injuries, while also offering ease of cleaning. The cap features strategically placed shell vents and a ventilated suspension system to enhance breathability and air circulation, making it suitable for extended use. Its flexible suspension system includes a removable, replaceable 4mm thick foam-backed fabric sweatband for added comfort in demanding tasks. The recessed design on the sides accommodates earmuffs for better integration with hearing protection, while the short, flat angled brim design increases upward visibility. The adjustable suspension system allows users to customize height, rear strap angle, and size for a comfortable and secure fit. This bump cap, typically worn in areas with lower energy worker-generated impacts such as tight spaces, low ceilings, and beams, is recommended for mechanics, airline baggage handlers, and workers in food processing and manufacturing facilities. It is not intended for use where ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2014 hard hats are required. The cap fits hat sizes 6-1/8 to 8 (head circumference: 19.25-25.25 inches / 49-64 cm) and features a short brim length of 2 inches (50 mm) with a ratchet closure, available in multiple color options to coordinate with work uniforms.
