The Skullerz® 8951 vented hard shell bump cap is designed with a durable polyethylene shell, providing protection against bumps, scrapes, bruises, and other minor head injuries while resisting cracking and breaking for ease of cleaning. It features strategically placed shell vents and a ventilated suspension system, enhancing breathability and air circulation for comfortable all-day wear. The flexible suspension incorporates a removable and replaceable 4mm thick foam-backed fabric sweatband to keep users cool even during demanding tasks. With a recessed design on the sides for compatibility with earmuffs, the short, flat angled brim improves upward visibility. The adjustable suspension system allows for customization of height, rear strap angle, and size, accommodating hat sizes from 6-1/8 to 8 (head circumference: 19.25-25.25 in // 49-64 cm). The cap offers multiple color options to match work uniforms or roles and features a short brim length of 2 in (50 mm) with a ratchet closure. It is ideal for use in tight spaces such as low ceilings and beams, particularly in industries like mechanics, airline baggage handling, and food processing/manufacturing; however, it is not suitable where ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2014 hard hats are required.
