The Skullerz® 8952 hard shell bump cap is constructed with a durable polyethylene shell that provides protection against bumps, scrapes, bruises, and other minor head injuries while resisting cracking and breaking for easy cleaning. It features a ventilated suspension system for enhanced breathability and air circulation, making it suitable for all-day wear. The flexible suspension includes a removable, replaceable 4mm thick foam-backed fabric sweatband to maintain user comfort even during demanding tasks. Its recessed design ensures compatibility with earmuffs for improved integration with hearing protection, while the short, flat angled brim enhances upward visibility. The adjustable suspension system allows customization of height, rear strap angle, and size for a secure fit. This safety bump cap complies with the EN 812-2012 standard for industrial bump caps and is ideal for use in tight spaces where lower energy worker-generated impacts may occur, such as low ceilings, beams, and pipes. It is particularly suitable for professions like mechanics, airline baggage handlers, and workers in food processing or manufacturing facilities, as well as in-home services and pest control, but not for environments where ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2014 hard hats are required.
