The Skullerz® 8952 hard shell bump cap is constructed with a durable polyethylene shell designed to protect against bumps, scrapes, bruises, and other minor head injuries. This material not only resists cracking and breaking but also facilitates easy cleaning. A ventilated suspension system enhances breathability and air circulation, making it suitable for all-day wear. The suspension system is flexible, featuring a removable and replaceable 4mm thick foam-backed fabric sweatband that helps maintain user comfort during demanding tasks. Its recessed design on the sides promotes a comfortable fit with earmuffs for better integration with hearing protection, while the short, flat angled brim enhances upward visibility. The adjustable suspension system allows for customization of height, rear strap angle, and size, ensuring a secure and comfortable fit. This safety bump cap complies with the EN 812-2012 standard for industrial bump caps and is typically used in tight spaces where there's a risk of lower energy worker-generated impacts, making it ideal for mechanics, airline baggage handlers, and workers in food processing/manufacturing facilities. However, it is not suitable for environments requiring ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2014 hard hats.
