The Skullerz® 8952 hard shell bump cap is designed with a durable polyethylene shell that offers protection against bumps, scrapes, bruises, and other minor head injuries, while resisting cracking and breaking for enhanced longevity and ease of cleaning. It features a ventilated suspension system for increased breathability and air circulation, making it suitable for all-day wear. The flexible suspension includes a removable, replaceable 4mm thick foam-backed fabric sweatband for comfort, and the recessed design on the sides allows for compatibility with earmuffs, facilitating integration with hearing protection. Its short, flat angled brim enhances upward visibility, and the adjustable suspension system enables customization of height, rear strap angle, and size to fit individual preferences. The bump cap meets the EN 812-2012 standard, making it a practical choice for environments with low ceilings, beams, and pipes, where lighter protection is necessary compared to traditional hard hats. It is particularly beneficial for mechanics, airline baggage handlers, and workers in food processing/manufacturing, inspection, pest control, and similar fields that do not necessitate hard hat protection. This bump cap is not suitable for use in situations requiring ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2014 hard hats.
