The JET® JLP-A series lever hoists are engineered for safety, reliability, and durability in light to medium-duty industrial applications, featuring a patented brake wear indicator that signals when to replace friction disks. The kit includes a grade 80 black oxide coated load chain that enhances durability, and the impact-resistant all-steel construction offers added protection. The industrial-rated alloy steel hooks rotate 360 degrees for easy rigging and exhibit a slow stretch to indicate overload situations. To improve efficiency and promote smooth operation, the hoist is equipped with needle bearings that support the load sheave. The JET® easy free chain design enables a two-step, no-load, free chaining system for quicker hoist positioning while preventing free chaining under load. An ergonomic grip has been redesigned for better operator control and comfort. The hoists come with cast-steel safety latches secured with Allen screws and lock nuts, providing increased durability compared to stamped steel latches, ensuring compliance with lifting regulations. The Weston style double ratchet pawl brake design enhances load security by distributing the load to opposite sides of the ratchet gear.
