The JET® S90 series hand chain hoists feature all steel construction, ensuring reliability and durability for light-duty industrial applications. They are available in capacities ranging from 1/2 ton to 10 ton with standard lifts of 10, 15, 20, and 30 feet, with custom lifts also available. Key features include a Grade 80 black oxide coated load chain for enhanced durability, heat treated load plates, and industrial rated alloy steel hooks that can rotate 360 degrees for easy rigging while slowly stretching to indicate an overload situation. Designed for harsh environments, the heat treated load plates and case hardened corrosive resistant internal parts extend the hoist's life. Additionally, needle bearings support the load sheave, promoting smooth operation, while secured Allen screws and lock nuts ensure the cast-steel safety latches are more durable than standard stamped steel latches. The hoists are designed with a smaller body and lightweight form factor, making them suitable for confined areas and low headroom applications. The Weston style double ratchet pawl brake design enhances load security and safety by splitting the load to opposite sides of the ratchet gear.
