The JET® S90 series hand chain hoists are engineered with all steel construction, ensuring reliability and durability for light-duty industrial applications. This hoist is available in capacities ranging from 1/2 ton to 10 ton and offers standard lifts of 10, 15, 20, and 30 feet, with custom lifts available. Key features include a grade 80 black oxide coated load chain for enhanced durability, heat-treated load plates, and industrial-rated alloy steel hooks that rotate 360 degrees for easy rigging while gradually stretching to indicate an overload situation. Designed for harsh environments, the heat-treated load plates and case-hardened, corrosive-resistant internal parts extend the hoist's lifespan. Additionally, the load sheave is supported by needle bearings to increase efficiency and ensure smooth operation. The cast-steel safety latches, secured with Allen screws and lock nuts, offer greater durability than stamped steel latches, maintaining compliance with lifting regulations. The hoist's smaller body and lightweight design make it ideal for confined areas and low headroom applications. Furthermore, the Weston style double ratchet pawl brake design enhances load security by distributing the load to opposite sides of the ratchet gear, resulting in increased safety.
