The JET® S90 series hand chain hoists feature all steel construction, ensuring reliability and durability for light-duty industrial applications. This hoist is available in capacities ranging from 1/2 ton to 10 ton, with standard lifts of 10, 15, 20, and 30 feet, and custom lifts available upon request. Key features include a Grade 80 black oxide coated load chain for added durability, heat-treated load plates, and industrial-rated alloy steel hooks that rotate 360 degrees for easy rigging, while also stretching slowly to indicate an overload situation. Designed for harsh environments, the heat-treated load plates and case-hardened corrosive-resistant internal parts enhance the hoist's lifespan. Additionally, needle bearings support the load sheave, increasing efficiency and promoting smooth operation. The cast-steel safety latches, secured with allen screws and lock nuts, are more durable than stamped steel latches and comply with lifting regulations. The compact body and lightweight design make it particularly suited for confined areas and low headroom applications. The Weston style double ratchet pawl brake design adds to load security by splitting the load to opposite sides of the ratchet gear, enhancing safety.
