The BSV-12VS-V2 metal cutting bandsaw is designed for increased capacity and features an inverter for blade speed control, allowing for both straight and curved cuts. This industrial-grade bandsaw is powered by a 1 HP motor operating on 120-volt power and accommodates standard blade sizes from 1/8" to 1/2". It boasts a throat depth of 12-3/16" and a maximum cutting thickness of 6.875". The cast iron table is adjustable, pivoting front to back and left to right, while an LED work light enhances visibility during operation. The variable speed ranges from 100 to 1000 FPM, enabling optimal cutting settings for wood, metal, and plastic. A digital readout provides an estimated blade speed for improved material handling and blade longevity. The bandsaw includes a manual shear for cutting and re-welding the blade through the workpiece, and it comes equipped with a fully-integrated blade welder alongside a built-in grinder for finishing weld joints. The thick steel plate framework minimizes vibrations for precise cuts, ensuring durability.
