The BSV-24VS-V2 is the largest non-mitering vertical bandsaw in our lineup, designed for enhanced metal cutting capabilities and variable-speed operation. It features a robust 3 HP motor that operates on 220-volt three-phase power and offers a wide throat depth of 23-5/8" with a maximum cutting thickness of 12-3/16". This bandsaw accepts standard blades ranging from 1/8" to 5/8" in width and includes a cast iron table that can pivot left to right. The kit comes with a cast iron mitering system, rip fence, gauge, and protractor to ensure straight and repeatable cuts. An inverter-controlled variable speed range from 85 to 2200 FPM allows for precise adjustments suitable for cutting wood, metal, and plastic. The integrated digital readout (DRO) displays blade speed to help select optimal settings for different materials and extend blade life. Additionally, this bandsaw is equipped with a manual shear for cutting the blade, allowing for seamless application through the workpiece before welding it back together.
