The Jet® Variable Speed Combination Belt & Disc Machine is designed to grind and finish materials effectively, combining the advantages of both a belt and a disc finishing system in one unit. With a compact footprint of 20-1/2" x 27" x 58", it offers variable speed settings for finishing or grinding a wider range of materials, including mild steel, aluminum, and plastics, with speeds ranging from 2200-4000 SFPM for the belt and 1547-2813 RPM for the disc. Both worktables can tilt up to 45 degrees for added flexibility, and setup is made easier with the included measurement gauge. This machine features a belt head that adjusts both vertically and horizontally for operation at any angle, allowing for contour finishing, mitering, flat finishing, beveling, and precision finishing. Safety is a priority with fully enclosed drums and guarded sanding belts, while the inverter ensures quick stopping of the belt and disc. Additional features include variable position locks for creating sturdy work surfaces, a fully machined and balanced disc for smooth operation, a heavy-duty adjustable and removable cast iron platen, an easy-to-use die-cast aluminum miter gauge for plain and compound miters, and adjustable dust collector and dust chute for optimal dust collection.
