The Jet® L-100 Series hand chain hoist is constructed with all steel to ensure safety, durability, and innovation for operation in demanding industrial environments. It features slip clutch style overload protection to prevent lifting loads beyond its rated capacity, along with the patented fused brake system that reduces maintenance costs and downtime. The hoist is available in capacities from 1/4 ton to 20 tons and offers standard lifts of 10, 15, 20, and 30 feet, with custom lifts available. Double sealed ball bearings support the load sheave for increased efficiency, while the grade 100, corrosive-resistant plated load chain is 20% stronger than grade 80 load chain. The load plates are heat treated, and industrial-rated alloy steel hooks rotate 360 degrees for easy rigging, designed to slowly stretch to indicate an overload situation. The heat treated load plates and case hardened corrosive-resistant internal parts extend the hoist's life, and the cast-steel safety latches, secured with Allen screws and lock nuts, are more durable than stamped steel latches. The lightweight design and smaller body make it ideal for confined areas and low headroom applications, and the Weston style double ratchet pawl brake design enhances load distribution across the ratchet gear.
