The HAWS® 8605SS is an enclosed emergency shower and eye wash featuring the AXION® MSR eye/face wash head assembly, which boasts a patent-pending inverted flow design that is medically acclaimed. This unique system ensures a superior response in alignment with EMT, emergency room, and doctors' office protocols by effectively sweeping contaminants away from the nasal cavity. Unlike traditional eye washes that flush contaminants toward the nose, the AXION® MSR provides a safe and effective irrigation method. This model includes a hydrodynamic shower design that equalizes water distribution across the entire flow footprint, creating smaller droplets for enhanced comfort and efficacy. The combination unit features an AXION® MSR eye/face wash head with inverted directional laminar flow and an integral 3.7 GPM (14 L) flow control, a stainless steel showerhead with a 20 GPM (75.7 L) flow control, a stainless steel stay-open shower ball valve with stainless steel ball and stem, stainless steel piping, a pull-down activated eye/face wash, a 16 gauge type 304 stainless steel booth, a fiberglass reinforced plastic floor grate, a heavy-duty modesty curtain, and universal signs. It is designed with a 1" NPT top or bottom supply and includes a 4" integral NPTF floor drain. The construction is made of type 304 stainless steel with a satin finish and features an integral center location drain strainer, ensuring durability and compliance with safety standards. The unit is certified to meet relevant safety requirements, ensuring its reliability in emergency situations.
