The Flextec 500X multi-process welder is designed for simple operation and rugged durability, making it ideal for shipyards, construction sites, and fabrication shops. It features basic pulse MIG capability that supports weld modes for carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and Metalcore electrodes. Built with CrossLinc® technology, this welder allows operation from hundreds of feet away without the need for control cables. With an IP 23 rating, the Flextec 500X excels in outdoor environments and is Desert Duty® rated for operation in harsh conditions up to 55C. The device includes durable trayed and potted PC boards for enhanced environmental protection. It serves as a versatile multi-process power source, compatible with all 42VAC wire feeders for MIG and flux-cored welding. The ArcLink® enabled power source offers synergic pulse modes optimized for stick welding with both cellulosic and low hydrogen electrodes. Additionally, it provides Touch-Start TIG for easy, contamination-free starts without high frequency. The CrossLinc technology ensures full functionality without control cables, allows for remote procedure setting at the feeder to improve weld quality, and increases arc time with fewer trips to the power source for adjustments.
