The Air Vantage® 566X is a powerful multifunction machine that delivers up to 600 amps of IEC rated welding output, along with 20 kW of auxiliary power and 60 CFM of compressed air. This 3-in-1 workhorse is designed for tough job site conditions, capable of handling a variety of tasks including heavy-duty carbon arc gouging and pulse welding. It features CrossLinc® technology, which enhances user control at the arc for improved safety and productivity. The machine offers on-demand versatility with up to 600 amps (IEC rated at 525 amps) to support multiple welding and carbon arc gouging applications, providing five basic process modes: CC-stick, downhill pipe, DC touch start TIG®, CV-wire, and arc gouging mode for maximum output with 3/8 in. (9.5 mm) carbon rods. The generator output supplies up to 20 kW of continuous three-phase power suitable for running industrial tools like plasma cutters and pumps. It includes an integrated air compressor delivering 60 CFM @ 100 PSI of compressed air powered by VMAC® patented Chopper® technology, which enhances arc performance and prevents engine stalling during gouging. Additionally, it offers expanded welding capabilities with customized modes for stainless, aluminum, and steel, advanced saw and orbital pipe modes, and pulse welding for better arc control. The CrossLinc® enabled feature allows communication through a standard weld cable for voltage or current control at the arc, supporting safety, quality, and productivity with reduced downtime.
