The Power Wave® Advanced Module enhances the capabilities of the 3rd Generation Power Wave® S and R Series power sources, providing access to advanced welding processes such as AC, STT®, Rapid X®, and Low Fume Pulse®, and features a dedicated Twist-Mate® connection for high-frequency GTAW (TIG) applications. It is compact and durable with an IP23 rating to withstand harsh environments. The module includes ArcLink® digital communications with integrated control cables for simple and fast plug-and-play operation, a quick lock mounting system that secures directly underneath the power source, intelligent protection to prevent damage from misconnections and voltage transients, and smart fan operation that synchronizes with the Power Wave® power source to minimize noise and energy consumption. The package includes a power source output pigtail adapter cable (TWECO-style) measuring 25 ft. (7-5/8 m), a remote voltage sense lead, an ArcLink output receptacle, differential input and output (sync tandem output), and a shielding gas input. It also comes with an industry-leading 5-year warranty.
