The kit includes sorbents designed for standard use applications, part of the Spilfyter® Preferred Products Program, specifically engineered to absorb oil from water or land while repelling water. These sorbents float on water to effectively absorb oil spills and are dimple bonded for enhanced strength. They feature vertical perforations for a customized fit and are constructed from single-ply meltblown polypropylene. Standard oil-only sorbents are white in color, creating a high-contrast against hydrocarbons and other oil-based liquids and fluids, making them ideal for placement under oil leaks and around machines. Additionally, they can be used as rags for quick wipe-ups. The product is bonded, ensuring durability in various applications.
