Ideal for construction, municipalities, and work conditions requiring high-visibility clothing with flame or arc flash protection, this kit is constructed from durable Glenguard® modacrylic fabric which is compliant with ANSI/ISEA 107 Type R Class 2 standards for long-lasting performance and comfort. It includes 2-inch FR reflective tape for superior visibility and a self-binding FR hook and loop closure for quick access. The garment meets ASTM 1506 standards, with an arc rating of ATPV 4.6 cal/cm². It features one internal lower pocket designed to be worn only over arc-rated clothing and is not intended to be worn alone or over non-arc resistant apparel. Additionally, it includes "D" ring access. The fabric composition of mesh and modacrylic enhances breathability and provides inherent flame resistance that does not diminish through wear or laundering. As a Type/Class R2 apparel, it is suitable for workers exposed to traffic traveling over 25 mph and working against complex backgrounds.
