The garment meets ASTM 1506 standards and has an arc rating of ATPV 4.6 cal/cm², and is intended to be worn over arc-rated clothing only, not as a standalone item or over non-arc resistant apparel. It provides "D" ring access and is constructed from a breathable mesh/modacrylic blend, with the modacrylic element being inherently flame resistant and maintaining its protective qualities through wear and laundering.
