It includes ANSI/ISEA 107 Type R Class 3 durable GlenGuard® modacrylic fabric for long-lasting performance and comfort, along with 2-inch 3M Scotchlite FR reflective tape for superior visibility and a self-binding FR hook and loop closure. The garment meets ASTM 1506 standards and has an arc rating of ATPV 4.6 cal/cm². It features one internal lower pocket and is intended to be worn over arc-rated clothing only, not alone or over non-arc resistant apparel. The fabric composition includes mesh and modacrylic, where the mesh enhances breathability and the durable modacrylic offers inherent flame resistance that is retained through wear or laundering. Classified as Type/Class R3, this apparel is intended for workers needing the highest level of visibility and the ability to be seen during a full range of body motions. It has an extended life, being reusable and launderable, which not only reduces costs but also minimizes landfill waste, thus lowering environmental impact.
