The Merit chrome plated brass pipe fitting is a 1/2 x 1/4 hex bushing designed for NPT male to female connections. These chrome plated brass fittings are suitable for low pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.), with pressure ratings of 125 psi for steam and 200 psi for W.O.G. They comply with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. The fittings provide superior corrosion resistance, and the relative softness of the material facilitates easy installation and ensures a tight seal. Additionally, chrome plated brass fittings are easy to clean, do not attract dirt and bacteria, and maintain a shiny finish.
