The Merit chrome plated brass pipe fitting is a 3/4 x 1/2 hex bushing with NPT male x female threads, designed for use in low pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.). These fittings have pressure ratings of 125 PSI for steam and 200 PSI for W.O.G., and comply with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. The chrome plating provides superior corrosion resistance, and the brass material's relative softness allows for easy installation and a tight seal. Chrome plated brass fittings are easy to clean, resist dirt and bacteria accumulation, and maintain a shiny finish. It is important to note that these fittings contain lead and are not permitted for potable water use in the U.S.A. and its territories under federal law.
