The Merit chrome plated brass pipe fitting is a 1 x 3/4 hex bushing with NPT male x female connections, designed for low pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.). The fitting has a pressure rating of 125 psi for steam and 200 psi for W.O.G., and it complies with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. Made of chrome plated brass, the fitting offers superior corrosion resistance, ease of installation due to the material’s relative softness, and a tight seal. It is also easy to clean, resists dirt and bacterial accumulation, and maintains a shiny finish. This fitting contains lead and is not permitted by federal law for potable water use in the U.S.A. and its territories.
