The Merit chrome plated brass pipe fitting is a 3/8 inch 45 degree street elbow with NPT male x female connections. These chrome plated brass fittings are designed for low pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.) and have pressure ratings of 125 PSI for steam and 200 PSI for W.O.G. The fittings comply with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards, providing superior corrosion resistance. The brass material is relatively soft, allowing for easy installation and ensuring a tight seal. Chrome plating helps the fittings resist dirt and bacteria buildup while maintaining a shiny finish. It is important to note that these fittings contain lead and are therefore not approved for potable water use in the U.S.A. and its territories in compliance with federal law.
