The Merit chrome plated brass pipe fitting 1/8 cap NPT female is designed for low pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.). It features a pressure rating of 125 psi for steam and 200 psi for W.O.G., complying with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. The fitting provides superior corrosion resistance and is made from a relatively soft brass material, allowing for easy installation and a tight seal. Its chrome plating ensures the fitting is easy to clean, resists dirt and bacteria accumulation, and maintains a shiny finish. This fitting contains lead and is not permitted by federal law for potable water use in the U.S.A. and its territories.
