The Merit chrome plated brass pipe fitting 1 cap NPT female is designed for low pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.). These chrome plated brass fittings have pressure ratings of 125 psi for steam and 200 psi for W.O.G., and they comply with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. The fittings provide superior corrosion resistance, and the relatively soft brass material enables easy installation and a tight seal. They are easy to clean, resist dirt and bacteria accumulation, and maintain a shiny finish. These fittings contain lead and are not permitted by federal law for potable water use in the U.S.A. and its territories.
