The Merit chrome plated brass pipe fitting 1/4 x 1/8 reducing coupling NPT female is designed for low pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.). It has a pressure rating of 125 PSI for steam and 200 PSI for water, oil, and gas, and complies with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. The chrome plating provides superior corrosion resistance, and the brass material’s relative softness facilitates easy installation and ensures a tight seal. These fittings are easy to clean, resist dirt and bacteria accumulation, and maintain a shiny finish. The kit includes the reducing coupling fitting itself.
