Merit chrome plated brass pipe fitting 3/4 square countersunk plug NPT male is designed for low pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.). The fittings have pressure ratings of 125 PSI for steam and 200 PSI for W.O.G., complying with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. They provide superior corrosion resistance, and the material's relative softness facilitates easy installation and a tight seal. Additionally, chrome plated brass fittings are easy to clean, resist dirt and bacteria accumulation, and maintain a shiny finish. However, these fittings contain lead and are not permitted by federal law for installation in potable water systems in the U.S.A. and its territories.
