The Merit chrome plated brass pipe fitting is a 1-inch square head solid plug with NPT male threads. These chrome plated brass fittings are designed for use in low pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.), with pressure ratings of 125 psi for steam and 200 psi for W.O.G. They comply with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. The fittings provide superior corrosion resistance, and the brass material's relative softness allows for easy installation and a tight seal. Chrome plating makes them easy to clean, prevents dirt and bacterial buildup, and maintains a shiny finish.
