The Merit chrome plated brass pipe fitting features a 1/2 locknut NPT female design, suitable for low pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.). These fittings have pressure ratings of 125 PSI for steam and 200 PSI for W.O.G., complying with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. The chrome plated brass construction provides superior corrosion resistance, while the material's relative softness ensures easy installation and a tight seal. In addition to being easy to clean and resistant to dirt and bacteria, these fittings maintain a shiny finish. It is important to note that these fittings contain lead and cannot be installed for potable water use in the U.S.A. and its territories.
