The Merit chrome plated brass pipe fitting 1 x 1/2 x 1 reducing tee NPT female is designed for low pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.). The fittings have pressure ratings of 125 PSI for steam and 200 PSI for W.O.G., meeting ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. Made from chrome plated brass, these fittings offer superior corrosion resistance, with the material's relative softness allowing for easy installation and a tight seal. They are easy to clean, resist dirt and bacteria accumulation, and maintain a shiny finish. These fittings contain lead and are not permitted by federal law to be installed for potable water use in the USA and its territories.
