The Merit chrome plated brass pipe fitting is a 1-1/4 x 3/4 reducing coupling with NPT female threads, designed for low pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.). These fittings have pressure ratings of 125 psi for steam and 200 psi for W.O.G., conforming to ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. Made of chrome plated brass, they offer superior corrosion resistance, easy installation due to the material's relative softness, and a tight seal. The chrome plating ensures the fittings are easy to clean, resist dirt and bacteria accumulation, and maintain a shiny finish. These fittings contain lead and are not allowed by federal law to be installed for potable water use in the U.S.A. and its territories.
