The Merit chrome plated brass pipe fitting is a 1-1/2 inch 90 degree elbow with a female NPT connection. Designed for low pressure applications, it is suitable for water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.) with pressure ratings of 125 PSI for steam and 200 PSI for W.O.G. This fitting complies with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards, offering superior corrosion resistance due to its chrome plating. The relative softness of the material allows for easy installation and ensures a tight seal. The chrome plated brass fittings are also easy to clean, do not attract dirt and bacteria, and maintain a shiny finish, but it should be noted that these fittings contain lead and are prohibited by federal law from being used for potable water installations in the U.S.A. and its territories.
