The Merit chrome plated brass pipe fitting is a 1-1/4 x 1-1/4 x 1/2 reducing tee with NPT female connections, designed for use in low pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.). These fittings have a pressure rating of 125 PSI for steam and 200 PSI for W.O.G., complying with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. This product offers superior corrosion resistance, and the relative softness of the material allows for easy installation and a tight seal. Chrome plated brass fittings are favored for their ease of cleaning, resistance to dirt and bacteria, and ability to maintain a shiny finish. It should be noted that these fittings contain lead and are prohibited by federal law from being installed for potable water use in the U.S.A. and its territories.
