Merit chrome plated brass pipe fitting 1/2 x 1/8 hex bushing NPT male x female is designed for low pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.). The fittings have pressure ratings of 125 PSI for steam and 200 PSI for W.O.G., meeting ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. Made with superior corrosion resistance, the chrome plated brass material's relative softness facilitates easy installation and ensures a tight seal. These fittings are easy to clean, do not attract dirt and bacteria, and maintain a shiny finish. However, it is important to note that these fittings contain lead and are prohibited from being installed for potable water use in the U.S.A. and its territories.
