The drum positioner allows a fork truck driver to rotate standing 55-gallon drums to the horizontal racking position and vice versa. The kit includes positioned extensions that slide over the vertical drum, and with the aid of the drum positioner, the drum can be rotated to a horizontal position. A positive latching system engages to ensure safe handling and secure horizontal positioning of the drum, making it ready to slide into the rack. The device features a welded spacer designed to protect drum fixtures from damage during rotation. It requires mechanical operation using a fork truck with 20.5" fork pocket centers to rotate and lift the drums.
