MTC™ Bio's 5ml screw-cap macroTubes™ combine the convenience of standard 15ml conical tubes scaled down for space efficiency and reduced natural resource consumption. These tubes are suitable for a temperature range from -86°C to 110°C, making them ideal for boiling and sample preservation at very low temperatures. The kit is available in gamma sterilized racked packaging with attached caps or non-sterile bulk packaging with separate caps. The foam racks, designed similarly to those used for 15ml tubes (upright with caps attached), require approximately 60% less storage space. These tubes are compatible with standard laboratory equipment and can be centrifuged at up to 25,000xg. They are free of RNase, DNase, and pyrogens, offer unsurpassed clarity, and feature dual graduations marked at every 0.2ml and 0.5ml.
