These square punch and die sets are designed for MetalPro ironworkers and include one upper punch and one lower die per set. The hole size corresponds to the upper punch, with all sets featuring a standard 2" lower die and a 1/32" clearance between the punch and die. For optimal results, the hole punch size should be equal to or greater than the material thickness, and it is recommended that the punch and die set used be 1/32" larger than the bolt size (for example, a 5/16" carriage bolt requires an 11/32" square punch and die set). These sets are rated for use in mild steel.
