The Self-centering Punch and Die Set is designed for quickly creating perfect, custom washers, shims, and gaskets. The kit includes nine punch sizes: 1/8", 3/16", 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 7/16", 1/2", 5/8", and 3/4", along with eight I.D. pilot sizes: 1/8", 3/16", 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 7/16", 1/2", and 5/8". It features a custom-fit, sturdy steel die stand that provides solid support for consistent fabrication of shims and washers. The elevated die design allows punches to fall cleanly, reducing shim burrs and minimizing damage to punches. The Precision Brand® TruPunch® punch and die set employs an exclusive, patented punch, pilot, and pin system that eliminates the need for guesswork in centering the I.D. and removes the necessity for scribing center lines, thereby reducing material waste by ensuring a perfect shim every time. The set is packaged in a durable plastic case and includes the TruPunch® punch and die set along with the stand.
