The Self-Centering Punch and Die Set is designed for creating perfect, custom washers, shims, and gaskets quickly and efficiently. The kit includes nine punch sizes: 1/8", 3/16", 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 7/16", 1/2", 5/8", and 3/4", along with eight internal diameter (I.D.) pilot sizes: 1/8", 3/16", 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 7/16", 1/2", and 5/8". This set is capable of cutting through materials such as steel, brass, copper, aluminum, rubber, and plastic up to 0.025" thick, while it can cut stainless steel and blue tempered shim up to 0.010" thick. The Precision Brand® TruPunch® punch and die set features an exclusive, patented punch, pilot, and pin system that eliminates guesswork when centering the I.D. and negates the need for scribing center lines, thereby minimizing material waste.
